PERMITS
DESIGN • PERMIT • CONSTRUCT
There are very few shorefront projects which can be completed without either a
NH DES CSPA or NH DES Wetlands Bureau Permit.
Effective July 1, 2008, almost all work within 250 ft of the water will require a NH DES Shoreland Permit.
We are proud of our full-service concept and will guide you through each step of a project from initial concept, through permitting, and finally construction. Navigating the complex world of permits and approvals can be frustrating and time-consuming. While we certainly don’t get any favors, our permit experts have the most experience of anyone in New Hampshire for seeking shoreline structure approvals.
We are constantly involved in the permit process and are the largest single permit agent for dock permits in the state. Our experts are involved daily in legislative initatives, upcoming rule changes and policy discussions in all manner of shoreline and shoreland permit regulatory agencies. We offer complete NH DES permit application services. Our wetlands and shoreland consultants have over 20 years experience seeking dock and shoreline structure permits and have been involved in all aspects of the creation and debate regarding the latest versions of the Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act (CSPA).
Considering joining the NH SHOREFRONT ASSOCIATION to get involved yourself!
We are glad to work with your surveyor, engineer, builder, planner, landscaper, or others to coordinate the permitting process to obtain the best permit possible with the least amount of duplicated effort.
Please let us know if there are other plans on or near the waterfront that may relate to our permit efforts.
We know the issues and can prepare a professional application as part of any waterfront project.
We suggest seeking guidance before you start planning any shorefront project.
Coordination of all permit needs up-front will save a lot of hassles later…Plan ahead!!!
