About Us

Watermark was founded in 1990 with the intention of building a “better” navaid (buoys, lanterns, and regulatory signage).  As two of the principles had previously been involved with Campbell Marine Construction, of Gilford, NH, marine construction was an obvious growth opportunity in our local area.

After a few years, and significant growth, we moved to Gilford East Drive in Gilford and have recently moved again to 1218 Union Avenue in Laconia (on the water in Paugus Bay, Lake Winnipesaukee).  Since that time we have expanded further into a Full-Line Ships Store including retail dock and shorefront accessories such as flagpoles, dock hardware, boatlifts and are proud to operate our satellite store on the shores of Lake Sunapee, in Sunapee, New Hampshire.

OUR BUSINESSES:
Marine Construction
Marine Supply Ships Store
Boatlift Sales & Service
Island Septic & Construciton
Docks & Accessories
Wetlands & Shoreland Permits
Marine Welding & Fabrication

We are dedicated to our business and strive to provide legendary customer service.  We have made a significant financial commitment to operate the most modern, state-of-the-art marine construction company in the State of New Hampshire.  We operate new equipment in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.  We are proud of our people and our work and look forward to working with people who appreciate our dedication.

We are the largest single permit agent in NH for shoreline structure permits (docks, beaches, boathouses, etc.) and are constantly involved in the regulatory arena regarding dock and shorefront issues.  Paul Goodwin, one of the principles at Watermark, has previously been a member of;  The Dock Rules Review Committee, The NH Wetlands Council, The Lakes Management Advisory Committee, The Legistlative Commission to Study the Shoreland Proctection Act, and the Shoreland Advisory Committee.  He is also active with the NH Marine Trades Association and NH Home Builders Association.

We are proud to offer SUNSTREAM boatlifts as their dedication to quality and their business is a similar philosophy to ours.  Their products are second-to-none and are a great addition to your waterfront.  You will be as proud to own on as we are to offer it to you.

We operate our own, in-house welding shop so we can control quality and customize products quickly and professionally.  We self-perform 90% of our projects and only work with subcontractors up to our own standards.

We are in this for the long-run and look forward to working with you and enhancing your waterfront enjoyment for many years.  Give us a call today or stop by to visit our stores.  You will not be disappointed…

During 2010 we formally separated our navaids and construction operations and formed a partnership called SEALITEUSA with Sealite Pty. Ltd. of Australia.  We have moved SEALITEUSA into a separate facility in Tilton, NH with a state-of-the-art rotational molding plant.   These are the finest Solar LED Marine Lanterns and navaids available in the world.  We distribute these products throughout the United States and the world.
