ICE OUT is official!!!

ICE DAMAGE?  There has been an exceptional amount of ice damage this year.  Basically, the ice was not ready to go out and it did not melt...it was beaten back by Mother Nature through rains and fierce winds.  This lack of melting combined with high winds means the entire ice sheet, which was pretty thick for a while, pounded around the lake like a giant bumper pool table.  We were not immune from this as two barges were damaged during the wind storms.  We'll need your patience and understanding to get through the hundreds of requests we've had in recent weeks...Thanks!

for all your spring needs.  We have lots of boatlifts, dock hardware, mooring gear, paddleboards, and all manner of dock and shorefront accessories in stock.  Need something special?  Just ask - we are glad to special order anything you require for your waterfront enjoyment.

SUNSTREAM boatlifts in stock and moving out fast - don't wait, order today!

HEWITT Boatlifts & Docks - large order just arrived - check them out today!

LAKE LEVEL GAUGES - our new polyethylene lake level gauges are now in stock!  Stop by and see the new and improved model designed for many years of care-free performance!
Don't wait - Contact us to discuss your project soon...

We are working hard on our Union Avenue property (the old Burger King) and hope to be open later this spring...watch our progress as you drive by!  Our new Ships Store offers a public dock on Paugus Bay so you can shop by boat!

Plan Ahead!

If you are planning a project you need to plan ahead so that permit application(s) can be filed and permits will be approved in time to commence your project.

The "ICE OUT" call was made by Dave Emerson of Emerson Aviation in Gilford at 2:10pm on April 23,2014.  While we all thought Mother Nature would make a run for the 1888 record of May 12th, heavy rains and fierce winds beat up the ice pack and resulted in a rather quick elimination of the ice sheet. However, all this wind and thicker-than-normal ice floes has resulted in massive amounts of ice damage around all the lakes.  There are whole neighborhoods with all docks damaged or destroyed.

If you have ice damage, it will help us greatly if you can locate old permits and/or plans to start the permitting process.  Any old information you have can save you money and streamline the permitting time line.  Remember, any work "in the water" will require a NH DES Wetlands Bureau permit...these can take time so please plan accordingly.

We'll do all that we can but please be patient as there is a lot more going on this spring than "normal" and it will be hard for us to keep up...

Mark Goodwin, a founder and partner in the company, lost his battle with cancer on Oct. 21, 2013.  While Mark has been running our sister company, SealiteUSA, since 2010, his hard working ethic and infectious sense of humor are still very evident in the Watermark culture today.  Under Mark's leadership, SealiteUSA has become a key manufacturer and supplier of navigation aids in the United States (www.sealite.com).
He will be missed!!!
